I think these are sound stress management strategies. I was very surprised at how well recieved our Power2Achieve Unit on tress management was recieved by high school students--and this seemed to be true for high performing and struggling students. It seemed to fill a real void for students. It's not a traditional character education topic, but it has so many aspects of character to it, whether it's the individual character qualities (honesty, humility, courage, self-control, etc.) or the support and challenge required of the community, this is critical topic for success in school, work, and beyond.
